In John 10:10 Jesus declares that He came so that we can have life. We have to believe in the finished work of the cross and receive the gift of life through Him.
If you have never accepted Jesus as Lord in your life, please pray this prayer:
"Father, I believe Jesus is Son of God and that he died on the cross for my sins. I repent! I receive Jesus in my heart as my Lord and Savior. I receive the forgiveness that Jesus died for. I can no longer live without the peace and comfort that comes from knowing You. I receive LIFE! Thank You for always loving me. In Jesus' name, Amen."
If you have accepted Jesus as Lord in your life BUT you've been living outside of God's will for your life, please pray this prayer:
Father, I know that You have not left me even though I've been living outside of Your will. I repent! I know that I cannot live without your guidance. I thank You for Your word that brings light and LIFE to me and I receive your promises for my life again. Thank You for always loving me. In Jesus' name, Amen."
